New England Patriots: 3 reasons Pats fans shouldn’t freak out
By Sam Minton
The New England Patriots may have struggled in Week 2, but fans shouldn’t worry.
You can’t win them all. Especially if you played like the New England Patriots in Week 2. There is no sugarcoating it the Patriots had a horrible game, but fans shouldn’t worry.
We are not witnessing the fall of an empire. It is just a minor setback for a major comeback. Anyways we saw what happened when the Patriots went undefeated. We don’t need to go through that again.
The Patriots couldn’t get anything going on offense in Week 2 and the defense looked like they were replaced with players from a local high school. Defenders were missing easy tackles and Blake Bortles was carving up the Patriots secondary like he was playing Fruit Ninja.

This happens every season
Every season there is a game where the Patriots play terribly and everyone says the Patriots are done. Who can forget the infamous “we’re on to Cincinnati” game? The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Patriots with Alex Smith at quarterback.
Now what did we end up doing that season? Oh yeah, the Patriots ended up winning the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs even did it again last season. They defeated the Patriots in Week 1 with amazing performances from Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt. The Patriots defense once again looked like they were incapable of stopping a Pop Warner team.
Then what happened? The Patriots ended up making it back to the Super Bowl.
At this point, we should expect the Patriots to have one game a year that makes you want to throw your TV through a window.
I expect the Patriots to bounce back in Week 3 and dominate the Detroit Lions. Then no one will be wondering if this is the end of the Patriots dynasty.
