1. Amari Cooper

The New England Patriots may have already made one trade for a wide receiver, but they could use another.

More from New England Patriots

Yes, I know the Patriots already acquired Josh Gordon. Gordon is doing well, but Cooper would be a big-time acquisition.

Amari Cooper was amazing in his first few years in the league. In his rookie season, he had 72 catches for 1,070 yards and 6 touchdowns.

If the Patriots acquired Cooper they would have another outside threat. I think Tom Brady could make Cooper a great receiver again. The last couple of years haven’t been kind to Cooper. He is on a struggling Raiders team that is currently a dumpster fire.

I think the Patriots could use their bevy of draft picks and throw in a receiver like Phillip Dorsett or Chris Hogan. The Raiders are in rebuilding mode, they want to get rid of everybody. The Patriots might be able to get Cooper at a discounted rate.

The Patriots would be stupid to not go after Amari Cooper.
