Boston Red Sox World Series 2018: David Price is fixed
By Sam Minton
David Price had a great effort in the Red Sox’s Game 2 victory. It appears that Price’s postseason woes are fixed and that is great news for Boston Red Sox fans.
We have witnessed a transformation at Fenway Park. Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price has become a completely new pitcher. Price is no longer afraid of the postseason, he is pitching great.
This all started in the ALCS. In the series-clinching game, he picked up his first postseason win this year, pitching 6 innings, only allowing 3 hits and striking out 9 batters. Price was dominant there is no other way to put it.
Now some were claiming that the postseason monkey was off Price’s back. Well doing it in the ALCS is one thing but what about in the World Series?

Well now it’s hard to doubt Price because he had another great pitching performance in Game 2 of the World Series.
Price pitched 6 innings once again and only allowed 3 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 5 batters. Again Price just had complete control of the game. Even when Price got in trouble he kept his composure and was able to get out of jams.
Now the Red Sox are in a great position to win the World Series and that is partly due to Price. If he struggled on Wednesday night the Sox would have been forced to use the bullpen early on and they would have been worn out heading to LA.
So people can no longer complain about Price’s postseason struggles. He redeemed himself this postseason. There is no way that Price can mess up his performance this postseason.
Price’s humongous contract is now completely justified. He earned his $30 million this season.
So now the Boston Red Sox’s are two wins away from winning the World Series and that is partly due to David Price’s great performance.
