Boston Celtics: Sounds like Terry Rozier isn’t going anywhere
By Sam Minton
There were reports that Terry Rozier wasn’t happy. Well according to Boston Celtics President Danny Ainge as well as Rozier everything is just fine.
Humans have a tendency to overreact to things. Humans who love sports? Multiply that by a 100. The latest rumors around the Boston Celtics proved just that.
There were rumors swirling that Terry Rozier was fed up in Boston and not happy with his playing time. Now this makes sense. Rozier played a lot of minutes last season. Now has been forced to return to the bench.
Well, it seems like a lot of people (including yours truly may have overreacted).

Boston Celtics President Danny Ainge appeared on 98.5 the Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich and said that Rozier hasn’t spoken to him about playing time and that there haven’t been any trade talks. Then later on in the day Rozier spoke to the media and said that he isn’t upset with his playing time and he isn’t really a guy who likes to complain.
As a Celtics fan this is what you want to hear. With the Celtics not exactly playing great, they need everyone on the same page. They don’t need guys worried about playing time and stats.
Rozier hasn’t been playing well either. He has struggled offensively and is taking poor shots. It seems like the Celtics are taking longer than expected to adjust to one another.
I like Rozier. He is a great bench player who can electrify a team when he is on. Rozier has a great shot and can catch fire quickly.
Hopefully, the Boston Celtics will end up re-signing him. He will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season. If Boston can re-sign both Kyrie Irving and Rozier they will have great guard play for years to come.
It will be interesting to see where Terry Rozier ends up playing. You will see if he is more interested in winning a championship or getting a starting role and getting paid.
