Boston Bruins rumors: Finally we will see what Jakub Zboril can do

It looks like Boston Bruins fans will finally get to see what 2015 1st round pick Jakub Zboril can do as he is slated to make his debut for the B’s on Saturday night.
They say that good things come to those who wait. Boston Bruins fans are hoping that this is the case with defenseman Jakub Zboril.
The 1st round pick hasn’t had the hottest of hockey careers since being drafted. Especially when you look at fellow 2015 Boston Bruins draft picks.
Jake DeBrusk was drafted immediately after Zboril and is already paying huge dividends for the Bruins. DeBrusk is a key member of the Bruins 2nd line and was one of the teams top scorers last season with 16 goals and 27 assists.

Brandon Carlo was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2015 draft and was skating on Boston’s No.1 defensive pairing. He already has 174 games under his belt and etched out a solid role for himself on the team.
So Zboril has some catching up to do. The defenseman showed that he can score in the QMJHL, but hasn’t been that succesful in the Bruins organization. In Zboril’s best season in the AHL, he had 4 goals and 15 assists. His personal rating of 12 is good to see though.
Zboril has played in 13 games in Providence this season and has 2 goals and 2 assists.
I’m not expecting Zboril to light up the stat sheet in his debut. He should try and be like fellow 2015 draft pick Jeremy Lauzon. Zboril should try and look like he belongs and not make any stupid decisions. The scoring will come eventually as we recently saw Lauzon snag the first goal of his career.

The Boston Bruins have been ravaged by injuries so far this season but it has produced some positives. Bruins fans have gotten to see some young talent produce in the NHL. Hopefully, Jakub Zboril will do just that.
