Josh Gordon suffered before coming to the New England Patriots. Being on the Cleveland Browns is worse than a prison sentence. Now “Flash” has a chance to make an impact in the postseason.

Life is better when you are winning. That’s why Boston becomes the happiest place on Earth when a local team wins a championship. Josh Gordon is definitely enjoying being a member of the New England Patriots.

Gordon got the NFL’s version of a death sentence. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns. When you are losing almost every single game it can get pretty frustrating.

Thankfully for Gordon, he is now on the New England Patriots. No organization is more synonymous with winning than New England.

More from Chowder and Champions

Gordon realizes that the playoffs are when the season truly begins for New England.

"“This part of the season is Patriots football,” Gordon said Thursday. “It’s what they’re known for. We’ve got to our foot to the gas and get it goin’.”"

So far, Gordon has been great for the Patriots. In 8 games he has 31 catches, 547 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Gordon adds an entirely new aspect to the Patriots offense. He is a deep threat who can catch anything. We have already seen Gordon make some amazing catches in New England.

The Patriots will definitely need Gordon to perform well in the postseason. He is New England’s No. 2 receiver and has earned Tom Brady’s trust rather quickly. Gordon opens up opportunities for Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan. If he struggles defenses can lock in on Rob Gronkowski and Edelman.

It would be great to watch Gordon dominate in the playoffs. He deserves a Super Bowl ring. He is one of the best athletes the NFL has ever seen.

The New England Patriots are known for bringing the best out of players. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gordon look great in the postseason. He should get plenty of targets.

Josh Gordon looks like he will be in New England for a while so he has to get used to postseason football. Hopefully, he will get his first chance at a Super Bowl as well.
