Boston Celtics gameday live: Team will show true talent against Golden State Warriors
By Sam Minton
The Boston Celtics have been performing well as of late, but we will see how good they really are when they go up against the Golden State Warriors.
The Boston Celtics have been playing some great basketball. They are on a 5 game winning streak, but that all can change on Saturday night when the C’s play the mighty Golden State Warriors.
I’m not the first person to say this but the Golden State Warriors are an amazing basketball team. Steph Curry is a generational player. He changed how basketball was played. Curry birthed a new crop of players who live and die by the three.
Don’t forget about everyone else though. Kevin Durant is now probably the best all-around player on the team. Durant is extremely athletic and knows how to get to the rim, but if you leave him open from behind the 3 point line he will make you pay.

Then rounding up the group is splash brother Klay Thompson, defensive beast Draymond Green, and big man DeMarcus Cousins.
So as you can see Boston has a major test on their hands. They need to somehow contain all of these weapons. It won’t be an easy job.
The key for Boston is to make this a low scoring game. The Celtics can’t keep up with the Warriors in a shootout.
We saw this last season. When Boston won it was 92-88. That’s a low scoring game, especially for the Warriors. When Golden State got revenge on the C’s they defeated Boston 109-105.
I think the Celtics are built to beat the Warriors because Kyrie Irving has improved defensively. Also, Marcus Morris is having an amazing season. He is the 3rd leading scorer on the team averaging 14.8 points a game.
It doesn’t matter how good Boston is against the Eastern Conference. You can beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by 50 points for all I care, but if you can’t compete with the top team in the Western Conference it is all for naught.
So on Saturday night, we will see what this team is really made of. Hopefully, the Boston Celtics won’t let us down.
