4. Dont’a Hightower

Dont’a Hightower grew to be one of the New England Patriots best linebackers, but now his days seem numbered.

This season Hightower looked very slow and was incapable of keeping up with players. We saw plenty of players just blow right by the linebacker.

More from Super Bowl LIII

The New England Patriots seem to be in a good spot at the linebacker position Ja’Whaun Bentley was a stud before getting injured and Kyle Van Noy was all over the field. New England won’t need to rely on Hightower like they have in prior seasons.

Even though Hightower is young there is definitely a chance he retires. His injury history isn’t pleasant and he already has 2 Super Bowl rings. If Hightower added a 3rd he could retire knowing he had one hell of a career.

So it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise if Dont’a Hightower decided to end his career after the Super Bowl.
