The Boston Bruins have extended their points streak to 18 games and continue to play at a high level. Boston looks primed for a Stanley Cup run.

I’m surprised the Boston Bruins are even able to skate at this point. The team is so hot you would think that they would melt the ice. It seems like no one can beat the Bruins.

The team extended their points streak to 18 games on Thursday night and now have a 5 game winning streak as well.

Now this is rather impressive, but when you factor in that Boston has been without their top goal scorer, David Pastrnak, it almost seems impossible.

Everything seems to be going the Boston Bruins way. They have been effective as they have ever been. In all phases of the game, the team is dominating.

Boston is now pulling away with the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference. They are now 4 points ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Still, they are far from 1st place.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have had the 1st seed wrapped up for a while. They looked unstoppable, but when you combine the most recent win over Tampa with Boston’s play the Lightning don’t seem so big and scary. The Bruins have a chance to defeat them in a 7 game series.

So let’s take a look at the 5 players who have sparked the Boston Bruins amazing run.
