Boston Bruins: David Pastrnak needs to show up
By Sam Minton
David Pastrnak has been one of the worst players on the Boston Bruins roster these last few games and the B’s need him to start playing well.
Who would’ve thought that we would be complaining about David Pastrnak? He had an amazing regular season but recently he has been awful for the Boston Bruins.
One of the things that stood out in the regular season was Pastrnak’s willingness to do whatever it takes to score goals. We saw Pasta get in the dirty corners and stay strong on the puck.

This was a great sight because at the beginning of his career he looked extremely gunshy. Whenever contact would come he would retreat into his shell like a turtle.
Still, Pastrnak is known for what he does with the puck on his stick. He has an amazing shot and can make defenders look silly.
Pastrnak hasn’t been doing that as of late. He has looked like a shell of himself. In the last 4 games, he has only scored a goal, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.
When you watch Pastrnak on the ice he looks awful. His speed has disappeared and now he is once again afraid of any contact. If he continues to play like this the Boston Bruins are going to be in big trouble.
It may be weird to say but I hope something is wrong with Pastrnak because I could never imagine him playing this poorly. He just looks terrible on the ice.
The Boston Bruins need Pastrnak to start scoring. If he keeps struggling I don’t know if the Bruins can win this series. Sergei Bobrovsky has been playing absolutely amazing. Boston needs to somehow get the puck by Bobrovsky.
So David Pastrnak needs to start showing up or else Bruins fans will be blaming him if the team is eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.
