Boston Celtics: Kyrie Irving proving more unlikable as stories leak

There might be some fans who want to give Kyrie Irving a break for the Boston Celtics struggles last season, but it looks like he was a locker room cancer.

There have been a lot of crazy stories to come out during Kyrie Irving’s time with the Boston Celtics. The latest one may take the cake as the wildest.

Now we all knew how crazy Kyrie was. This is the same guy that thought the Earth was flat. It wouldn’t surprise me to hear that he is a big believer in Sasquatch as well.

But throughout the 2018-19 season we realized that Kyrie Irving was kind of a jerk. He said that he owes the Boston Celtics nothing after pledging his allegiance to the team before the start of the regular season.

Irving would constantly call out his younger teammates even though they were the ones that carried Boston to the Eastern Conference Finals two seasons ago. The superstar refused to take any accountability for the team’s struggles.

Then there is this news from Jackie MacMullan that is almost hard to believe. How big of a jerk do you have to be to pull a stunt like this?

Does Kyrie not believe in charities either? Did he not realize they are usually good causes helping lots of people?

This just further shows the disconnect between Kyrie and everybody else in Boston. He is just a one of a kind dude in all of the wrong ways.

I’m pretty sure everyone will be happy to see Kyrie Irving leave Boston. No one has done a quicker 180 than him.

When he first arrived it looked like he was going to be Boston’s star. He was supposed to be the face of the franchise for years to come. He even said that he hoped to have his No.11 retired in the TD Garden rafters.

Now he will be one of the most hated players in Boston Celtics history. Is there a single soul in Boston who still likes Irving?
