Boston Celtics: Tacko Fall the star of Summer League
By Sam Minton
Tacko Fall has been dominating so far in Summer League and looks like he may have earned himself a spot on the Boston Celtics roster.
Tacko Fall is such an interesting player. He looks like someone you customize in NBA 2K to dominate the paint. With his performance so far in the NBA Summer League, Fall may have earned himself a spot on the Boston Celtics roster.
Fall hasn’t gotten a ton of minutes, but he sure has made the most of them. In his first two games Fall averaged 9 points, 3 rebounds, and a block per game.

It almost seems unfair for opposing teams. Fall towers over everyone. He has some impressive post moves and is able to snag rebounds with ease.
One of the more impressive things is how well Fall has moved up the court. You would think that he would struggle to keep up with play, but Fall can be quite dangerous on the fast break.
Also I’m pretty sure Fall doesn’t even jump when he goes to dunk the ball. It looks like he is playing on a miniature hoop.
For a team that struggles with rebounding I think that Fall could help out a lot. He would obviously not get a ton of minutes, but he could be useful in a limited role.
This would most likely mean that the Celtics may have to move on from a player like Guerschon Yabusele. Yabu has gotten a chance to show he belongs, but hasn’t capitalized on that opportunity.
So right now it looks like Tacko Fall will be spending his season in Boston and I can’t wait to see what he can do. Imagine Kemba Walker lobbing the ball up to the big man for a slam? Man this season could be really fun for Celtics fans.
