Boston Celtics: Kemba Walker dominating for Team USA
By Sam Minton
Team USA may have lost their first game in 13 years, but Kemba Walker showed that Boston Celtics fans have a lot to look forward to.
Well, we know that Team USA isn’t what it used to be but they seem to be at their lowest point in recent times. The only bright spot on the team is Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker.
The game tipped off late in the evening here in the United States and that was good for Team USA because they didn’t play well. It was their first loss in 78 games.

Now a lot of guys played poorly. Team USA didn’t really look like a team at all.
But one guy played great and Boston Celtics fans will be happy to hear so. Kemba Walker was far and away the best player on the court.
Walker got the most playing time and it was well deserved. He was the teams leading scorer. Walker had 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
What was even more impressive was Walker’s efficiency. He was 7-15 from the field.
This is exactly what Boston Celtics fans wanted to see. It looks like Walker can be a guy that carries the team and helps them improve.
If this is the stat line that Walker will have with the Celtics he will fit in perfectly. His efficiency will be a major factor for Boston.
No matter what you would know that Kyrie Irving was going to get his shots up last season. Hopefully, Walker will be able to gauge when he is having an off night. Then the point guard can defer to guys like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Team USA needs to improve and so does Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown if the team wants to have any international success.
But one thing is for sure, Kemba Walker is the star of this Team USA squad and he will hopefully be the same for the Boston Celtics.
