New England Patriots: Legacy of Tom Brady grows even greater
By Sam Minton
Andrew Luck shocked the sports world on Saturday when he announced his retirement from the NFL and this just shows how lucky New England Patriots fans are.
We have been blessed as an NFL fan base. The New England Patriots have been on a run that may never be replicated. They are one of the greatest franchises in all of sports.
But some times we can take things for granted. There will never be another quarterback like Tom Brady. He is the greatest of all time (no matter what Max Kellerman says).

One of the more impressive parts of Tom Brady’s career is his ability to stay healthy and lengthen his career. Usually by now quarterbacks are retired, but Brady keeps chugging along.
The recent retirement of Andrew Luck just shows how lucky Pats fans are. Imagine if Brady retired when he was 29? We would miss out on a lot more championships.
Brady is well into his 40’s and he still has a chance to win even more rings. Would anyone be surprised if he ends his career with 7 or 8 Super Bowl victories?
At the earliest it seems like Tom Brady could retire at 45 years old. That is more than15 years older than Luck.
Brady has seen the game get much faster. It’s really a miracle that he has only suffered one major injury. Luck was beaten and battered for his entire career and that is why he had to retire. His body just let him down.
So let’s all remember how lucky we are to be New England Patriots fans. One day we won’t be as successful, but we will always have these past 20 years of absolute greatness.
(P.S. If you are mad at Andrew Luck for retiring get a grip. The man has battled his entire career and has a laundry list of injuries. I don’t blame him for wanting to enjoy the life he has created for himself.)
