The New England Patriots head down to Miami to face the Dolphins in Week 2 and history has proven that the Patriots can’t overlook this matchup.

The New England Patriots couldn’t have played better in Week 1. They dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers and look like they are ready to make their way back to the Super Bowl once again.

New England beat the Steelers by 30 points, their defense performed well without one of their top linebackers and Tom Brady was tossing the ball all over the field.

So you would think that Patriots fans would be confident that they would roll over the tanking Miami Dolphins in Week 2, but history has proven that we should be skeptical.

We saw what happened when the Patriots visited the Dolphins last season. The Dolphins shocked the world with a last-minute trick play that stunned Patriots fans.

Now the Dolphins are probably worse off than they were last season. After trading away Kenny Stills and Laremy Tunsil there is no hiding what they are doing. Miami is full-on tanking, hoping that they land the first overall pick.

For some reason, Miami has always caused problems for the Patriots. Most of the time the offense fails to get going and Tom Brady faces a lot of pressure. Now that New England’s defense is one of the best in the NFL things will change.

But heading into Week 2 I’m not extremely confident. Here are 3 reasons Pats fans should be worried headed into Week 2.
