Of course, the main player to watch Sunday afternoon will be newly acquired wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Perhaps one of the most controversial players to wear the New England Patriots uniform, Brown will be watched whether he actually gets on the field or not.

While all indications point to him playing in the game, it may be limited based on his knowledge or lack of knowledge of the offensive playbook.  Keeping his solely based on what he brings to the football field, Antonio Brown is one of the best offensive weapons Tom Brady will have to throw the ball to.

He also has two others who will rank in the top 5 in Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon.  For New England Patriots fans, this is a dream trio catching the ball from a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback who broke records the last time he had weapons of this caliber.

If Antonio Brown buys in and stays somewhat quiet as far as any further controversy, the Brown-Edelman-Gordon trio could trump what Brady had in 2007 with the Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker trio.

Again, whether he plays or not, all attention will be on the All-Pro wide receiver.  If he plays, does he look like a fit?  If he doesn’t, will he be okay with that?

The latter will tell how much respect he has for the New England Patriots.
