By Sam Minton
On Monday afternoon the Boston Bruins were cooking and they dominated the Anaheim Ducks in a 4-2 victory.
Monday was a treat for Boston Bruins fans. They got to see their team play a bit earlier than usual and they didn’t disappoint. I bet a lot of people headed out to celebrate after the game.
The Boston Bruins have yet to lose a game at home and are absolutely rolling right now. If they play like this it will be impossible for the team to not make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Clearly, there is no Stanly Cup hangover. Boston might even be playing better than they did last season. Maybe the sadness of losing a Game 7 is motivating this team to play at a level we haven’t seen before?
The Ducks are not a bad team either. They have gotten off to a great start this season and have a good group of guys. They definitely tested Boston on Monday but the Bruins were still able to pull off the 4-2 victory.
It seems that every player on Boston’s roster is having an impact. It’s insane how much talent the Bruins have.
When you take into account Boston’s young guns down in the AHL they are even better. The Providence Bruins could probably be a decent NHL team with their roster this year.
So there is definitely a lot to talk about but let’s look at the 3 major takeaways from Boston’s 4-2 win on Monday afternoon over the Anaheim Ducks.
