Boston Celtics: New uniforms aren’t all that bad

The Boston Celtics released their new city edition uniforms to mixed reviews, but they aren’t that bad.
Finally, the day has come and the Boston Celtics have their new city edition uniforms.
The NBA did a decent job with these jerseys last year. In particular, the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat had some of the best looking ones out there.

This year’s crop of jerseys hasn’t been the best. The Dallas Mavericks, and Milwaukee Bucks among the worst. Sadly the Boston Celtics are among the jerseys that are getting negative reviews.
Now I can admit that the Celtics have some of the cleanest uniforms in the league. The classic green and white will never go out of style. That Boston font is perfect as well.
Sometimes change can be scary, but these jerseys are much better than last year’s. For an alternate jersey, these are pretty impressive.
The main reason is that we get a return of the green and gold and a few special add-ons.

Now Enes Kanter didn’t the world any favors when he leaked these uniforms. His phone must be from the 19th century because the jerseys looked more teal than the classic green.
I love the Celtic font and the knot that is on the shorts. They aren’t the best from the new crop of jerseys but they aren’t as bad as people have been saying.
You won’t have to wait too long to see just how good these look on the court. The Celtics will debut the uniforms against the Brooklyn Nets and fan-favorite Kyrie Irving on November 27th. If that doesn’t make you want to tune in I don’t know what will (Kyrie Irving’s return will).

So even though people are saying that these jerseys aren’t that great, I think they look pretty awesome.
