According to Antonio Brown, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wants to play with the troubled wide receiver once again.

Antonio Brown had a short stint with the New England Patriots but he must have made an impact.

According to Brown, Brady and he have kept in touch and have even talked about playing with one another again. The wide receiver was on The Breakfast Club and gave a lengthy interview talking about the hectic year that he has had.

Now this sort of seems hard to believe. Brady is an expert at PR. Why would he link himself to someone as problematic as Brown?

Also, we are dealing with what can only be described as an unreliable source. Brown could easily be lying to drum up controversy and get teams interested in him.

That’s why plenty of people are doubting this apology tour that Brown is on. After seeing this cycle happen so many times we are just waiting for Brown to have another outburst. He seemed sincere but I think we can all agree that he has a lot of work to do to prove that he has actually changed.

The 2019 season proved that Tom Brady needs some help. Just having Julian Edelman isn’t cutting it anymore. Heading into 2020, Tom Brady needs some weapons.

I don’t think the New England Patriots would bring Brown back. Once he left the team he burned a bridge with Robert Kraft. He may have apologized but that can only go so far.

But could we see Tom Brady head to Las Vegas or LA and be joined by AB? I don’t think that is entirely out of the question.

It was definitely interesting hearing Antonio Brown speak as he seems to be doing much better than he was before. But he has a long way to go before getting back on the field and proving that his apologies are not empty statements.
