Robby Anderson wants to play with Tom Brady but that likely won’t be happening as he won’t fix the New England Patriots problems.

The New England Patriots are in the market for some wide receiver talent. If last season didn’t prove that I don’t know what will.

One name who has surfaced in rumors is Robby Anderson. The New York Jets wide receiver might be able to help the Patriots.

The interest is definitely there from Anderson. He is literally having dreams about playing with Tom Brady. If Brady comes back to the Patriots, I don’t think New England should go after Anderson.

New England definitely needs a receiver but they need someone who will fit in. Anderson might cause more problems in the locker room. He is your typical diva wide receiver.

I can just imagine Brady not getting him the ball for a few weeks and seeing Anderson have a fit. Anderson also believes that the Jets will re-sign him so I wouldn’t count on him coming to the Patriots.

Anderson might be a capable deep threat, but it just doesn’t seem like a good fit for New England.

The Patriots are in an interesting position. They have to plan for life with Tom Brady and without him.

If Brady stays with the team, New England will be in the market for a veteran wide receiver. We saw how much Brady hated working with young guys last season. He was openly frustrated in the media.

That’s why Emmanuel Sanders is a prime target for the Patriots. He is a skilled veteran receiver who seems perfect for the short passing game that New England often employs.

But if Brady doesn’t return the Patriots could switch things up. I would like to see them look at some targets in the NFL Draft. James Proche is a name that has come up as a possible replacement for Julian Edelman.

The Patriots need to start planning for the future, but Robby Anderson won’t be a part of their plans.
