The New England Patriots released a teaser for their new uniforms and it seems like we will be going back to the 90’s.

The New England Patriots are entering a new era. Of course that means that they need some new jersey’s.

With Tom Brady leaving the team things were already going to be different. Brady was the quarterback for 20 years. Seeing anyone beside No.12 under center will take a while to get used to.

It seems that the Patriots are looking to mark the start of a new era by making some changes. One of the first ones being that they will have new uniforms in 2020.

This was rumored to happen but we hadn’t really got any confirmation. On Friday the Patriots dropped a video teasing what there new jerseys could be. Now we know for a fact that they are switching things up.

In the hype video it seems like the team is hinting at what we will get. Using my detective skills I think we will be going back to the 1990’s and the days of Drew Bledsoe and Scott Zolak.

Take a look at the video and I think you will agree with my prediction.

The key word is something blue and the fact that it mentions something old. I don’t think this will be an exact copy of those beautiful jersey’s but rather a newer remix. New England could even just use the same concept as their normal home jersey’s but make them royal blue.

Over at SportsLogos.net (a great site for uniform and logo lovers) they used their skills to get a closer look at the player and his jersey. It appears that the jersey is white, which would be disappointing.

Patriots fans want something new. We don’t want just the same old blue and white. Give us the royal blue or the classic red.

I respect that guy over at SportsLogos.net but I am really hoping they are wrong. Maybe the New England Patriots wanted to misdirect fans with the inclusion of the white jersey’s. Also they might have just wanted to save the true jersey reveal for Patriot’s Day.

Next. N’Keal Harry will make doubters ‘bite that tongue’. dark

So we will just have to wait and see but I think the New England Patriots will be rocking royal blue jersey’s in 2020.
