The NFL seems determined to have a season in 2020, but multiple New England Patriots players voiced their concerns on Twitter.

There are a lot of concerns about the 2020 NFL season. There’s no guarantee that we even see football at all. Some New England Patriots players have even expressed their concerns about playing in 2020.

The NFL has come under fire due to a recent rule that they instituted. The league said that they will not be allowing players to swap jerseys at the end of games.

More from Chowder and Champions

This seems rather stupid seeing that players will be up close making contact with another for 60 minutes but then are unable to swap jerseys with a friend. It makes no sense.

This rule seemed to anger and confuse a lot of players. Some are even questioning if they will play at all.

J.J. Watt has said that if they are forced to wear masks or some sort of face shield that he will not play. The NFL would lose one of their biggest stars.

Devin and Jason McCourty have been vocal about how players need to be careful. They even mentioned that they are out of the loop on a lot of things when it comes to playing in 2020. The McCourty’s want to be safe whenever the NFL decides to start back up.

But now more Patriots are letting their opinion be known, Jonathan Jones headed to Twitter to voice his concerns.

It’s hard to disagree with Jones. There is no way to social distance playing football. It’s a game that almost craves contact. So how are you supposed to play an NFL season?

In the comments, you will also see Dont’a Hightower echoing the same sentiment. The players seem to be getting more and more upset.

The NFL needs to come up with a plan. If they think that they can fly by the seat of their pants they are wrong. The chance of an NFL season happening seems less and less likely by the day.

New England is an influential organization. If they are nervous the rest of the league should be nervous.

Next. Jadeveon Clowney a scary dream. dark

So we will just have to wait and see if there is football in 2020 but some Patriots are definitely concerned.
