Boston Celtics: Bill Russell has mastered Twitter
By Sam Minton
The older generation isn’t exactly known for their social media skills, but Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell is an expert on Twitter.
The Boston Celtics bounced back with a win on Sunday defeating the Portland Trail Blazers. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown played great and the C’s looked like the team we know and love.
Hopefully, the Celtics will continue to play well and gain some momentum headed into the playoffs.

Boston weren’t the only ones making a comeback. Celtics legend Bill Russell was doing some work on Twitter.
We have seen Russell impress us on Twitter aplenty of times. He reminded people just how athletic he was and that people shouldn’t be claiming that LeBron James was a better athlete than him.
Also, there is the great moment on camera where we saw Russell flip off Charles Barkley. This still makes fans chuckle to this day.
Russell had another gem recently. He reminded people that he is in fact still alive.

Somehow Russell is one of the best follows on Twitter. The man is 86 years old but somehow he is a master of social media.
If the Celtics want to be succesfull in their eventual matchup with the Bucks they will need to be strong on defense like Russell. Boston will need to contain Giannis Antetokounmpo if they want to be succesfull. We saw just how much he tore up the Celtics in their first game.
But it is good to know that Russell is in fact still alive. He is a key member of Boston’s history and having him talk to current players is a valuable asset.
Russell is one of the best players to ever step on the court. He was one of the best rebounders and shot blockers to ever play the game. Having 11 NBA championships to your name is also pretty nice.
But when it comes to Twitter don’t mess with Russell. He isn’t afraid to clap back.
