Damien Harris continues to impress people with his performance in Training Camp. It appears that he should be a part of the New England Patriots offensive plans in 2020.

One of the positions that New England Patriots fans will want to keep an eye on as the regular season gets closer is running back. Nothing seems set in stone beside the fact that James White will get a lot of playing time.

But there is still a lot of questions left unanswered.

Sony Michel and Lamar Miller started the offseason injured. Michel appears to be off the Physically Unable to Perform list. Miller on the other hand is still not practicing.

The rest of the group is made up of Rex Burkhead, Damien Harris, and undrafted free agent J.J. Taylor.

After having what amounted to a redshirted rookie season, Harris has been one of the more impressive players on the practice field.

Harris was once again one of the stars on offense. He broke out for a long 80-yard run in 11-on-11’s.

Harris is finally getting the chance to show fans why New England drafted him. It’s clear that he should be a part of the offense in 2020. With his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield he is a great option for Cam Newton.

The regular season is just a few weeks away and Miller still isn’t healthy. Will he be ready for the regular season? If he won’t be is it worth having him on the roster?

Also, it appears that Taylor is impressing people as well. It would be a difficult move to not have him on the roster with the great plays he has made in practice. New England has all the depth they need even without Michel.

Patriots fans should root for Paul Quessenberry. dark. Next

So hopefully Harris will see the field a decent amount in 2020. If anyone deserves to it’s him.
