N’Keal Harry gives the New England Patriots a big, outside target

The player who will benefit the most from the departure of Tom Brady will be 2019 first-round pick N’Keal Harry.

Not saying its Brady’s fault that the second-year wide receiver didn’t live up to expectations in his rookie season, but the quarterback wanted experience at the position and maybe didn’t trust Harry as much as he did a veteran like Mohamed Sanu.

If the New England Patriots are to have any sort of respectful passing attach in 2020, it all rests on the shoulders of the big receiver.

To be fair to N’Keal Harry, he only played in half the games in his rookie season due to injury.  While his 12 receptions for 105 yards don’t stand out, Harry made a few plays that fans should be excited about.

At 6’4, 225 pounds, he is a receiver who can go up and catch the ball.  He doesn’t have breakaway speed, but his ability to break tackles and keep plays alive is what will stand out in 2020 and in this game against the Miami Dolphins.

With extra attention paid to Julian Edelman, Harry will have 5 or 6 catches in this game, including a touchdown from his new quarterback Cam Newton.  In fact, it will be Newton’s ability to manipulate the pocket, leading to broken plays that will give Harry more chances to make plays on the ball.

Although the Dolphins will feature the cornerback duo of Xavien Howard and Byron Jones, there will be plays to be made by N’Keal Harry.  In fact, he will end up being the X-factor on offense for the New England Patriots in this game vs. Miami.
