Even though the New England Patriots lost in Week 2, these five players stocks increased with their performance.

The New England Patriots were very close to going 2-0 to start the season. Sadly that wasn’t the case as the Seattle Seahawks defeated New England 35-30.

The Patriots had a chance to win the game on the final play, but Cam Newton was unable to make it into the end zone.

At the end of the day, it wasn’t that bad of a loss. In New England, there isn’t a lot of moral victories, but that was the case on Sunday night.

Seattle is one of the best teams in the NFL led by the best quarterback in the NFL. Russell Wilson proved that on Sunday. He threw for 288 yards, five touchdowns, and an interception.

New England tried everything that they could, but there was no stopping Wilson. Even when the Patriots got pressure, Wilson was still able to throw touchdown passes.

One of the more successful parts of the game for the Patriots was their offense. So far it has been the strength of the team so far. After the departure of Tom Brady, it’s fair to say that wasn’t expected.

At the end of the day, it was a solid game for the Patriots. A lot of players had some good performances.

So here are the five players that saw their stocks rise after their performance against the Seahawks in Week 2.
