Cam Newton

One of the best players on the field for the Patriots was Cam Newton. He once again was the leader of New England’s offense. Newton’s stock continues to be on the rise and it doesn’t seem to be dropping anytime soon.

Newton threw for 397 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Also, Newton gained 47 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

More from New England Patriots

The most impressive part of Newton’s game was his passing. He showed off his arm strength and made some throws that left you impressed. It’s clear that Newton isn’t a one-trick pony.

Newton’s athleticism helps him out when he is in trouble. He is able to evade linemen in the pocket and also isn’t afraid to run for a first down as well.

So far Newton has exceeded expectations. He has shown how ludicrous it is that it took so long for him to get signed. This season he has thrown for 552 yards, a touchdown, and an interception while also running for 122 yards and four touchdowns.

Newton’s stock will only continue to rise if he plays as he did in the first two weeks of the season. He might even find himself in the MVP conversation.
