New England Patriots: Man does Philadelphia suck at winning
By Sam Minton
For some reason, the Philadelphia Eagles are infatuated with the New England Patriots and continue to provide bulletin board material.
Another day, another attack on the New England Patriots. Once again the Philadelphia Eagles are attacking the Patriots even though they won the Super Bowl. Yes, they won and instead of celebrating or focusing on next season they continue to beat up on the Patriots.
Who is the offender this time? Offensive lineman Brandon Brooks. Brooks played under Belichick protege Bill O’Brien when he was with the Texans so he got a taste of a similar way of thinking. Clearly, Brooks didn’t like it.
"“It’s crazy that people haven’t known this,” Brooks said of the misery that comes with playing for Belichick or a Belichick protege. “It’s been this way for like a decade. You’ve seen— Reggie Wayne did it. He retired. He went [to the Patriots] for a training camp and retired. [Expletive] is not fun there. I was under the same regime in Houston [with Bill O’Brien]. I almost retired. [Expletive] was miserable, every day. Every day.”"
Another player is telling me that being an NFL player is hard. Trust me I get it. The thing guys like Brooks and Cassius Marsh don’t understand is that Patriots fans aren’t in a fantasyland where they believe that it is fun to be a member of the New England Patriots.

Winning isn’t easy. Winning takes hard work. Hard work can be the opposite of fun. Once again all that hard work pays off when you win the Super Bowl.
A not so friendly face
Brooks would continue to talk about his former coaches and how Bill Belichick is the fun police, but then out of nowhere an old friend had to give his two cents.
"“All the media wants to talk about is rings,” began Lane Johnson. “Rings. I’m going to get this ring and never wear it one day. I’m going to put it away in a box. The only thing you’re going to remember from your playing days, you’re not going to remember the scores. You’re going to remember the people you played with and how you felt. And that’s the truth. All these guys talking about ‘I’ll take the rings.’“OK. You can have your rings. You can also have [expletive] 15 miserable years.”"
Again I am starting to think that Lane Johnson didn’t pass his elementary school Math class. He has one Super Bowl ring and believes he is the authority on how locker rooms should be run.
All offseason the Eagles have been talking about the New England Patriots and how they run things. When was the last time Philadelphia won anything? All they have done is whine instead of enjoying their time on top
Next: Braxton Berrios is the little big man who could
I can not wait for the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl once again and show that the “Patriot way” is the best way.
