Boston Bruins: Re-signing Sean Kuraly is the right move
By Sam Minton
The Boston Bruins have talked with restricted free agent Sean Kuraly and hopefully they will re-sign the exciting fourth liner.
The Boston Bruins seem to be all over the news as of late. They have gone after some high profile names, but there is a player that they need to re-sign that you may not be thinking about. Sean Kuraly.
Kuraly was an integral part of the Bruins fourth line. We saw him grow a lot and help bring the attitude, and physicality back to the bottom of the Bruins offense.
In Kuraly’s rookie year he scored 6 goals and 8 assists. That isn’t so bad for a bottom six forward.

The impressive thing about Kuraly was the spark he brought when he stepped onto the ice. Kuraly seemed to love physicality, seeking a hit every chance he gets. Also when he is on the ice for a goal he acts like it’s the first one he’s scored in his entire life.
The Bruins tendered a qualifying offer and now seem to be on the right track to bringing back Kuraly. They have until July 15th to strike a deal with Kuraly. Hopefully, it won’t reach that point.
The reason that Kuraly is an important signing is how well he fits his role. The Bruins have always been successful when they had a solid bottom line. Remember how fun it was to watch the amazing merlot line?
Kuraly is a perfect fourth liner. He can change the momentum of games with his high energy play. Kuraly loves fighting for pucks in the corners and this leads to some great scoring chances. His style of play is just so fun to watch.
