Former New England Patriots defensive end Chris Long believes that everyone needs to stop worrying about Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s relationship.

A lot has been made of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s relationship. All of New England has been wondering if the possible tension could lead to the New England Patriots dynasty falling apart or is everything just fine? One former Patriot believes that Pats fans have nothing to worry about.

Chris Long won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2016. He is one of the best people that could comment on the rumored tension in New England.

Long believes that the supposed relationship issues haven’t affected the Patriots performance.

"“I just think any NFL team, any NFL locker room under a lot of stress over a year period — there are going to be storylines people can choose to kind of blow out of proportion or not pay attention to,” Long told The Big Lead on “The Glass Half Empty Podcast.” “One year, one of the hallmark franchises in the sports world — I think everyone’s going to pay attention to sometimes really small issues. Whatever people are alluding to going on up there hasn’t affected their play, it hasn’t affected their bottom line. It hasn’t affected how they executed on Sundays. That’s what they pride themselves in. When you’ve got the greatest quarterback of all time and possibly the greatest coach of all time, that’s why they’re in those big games.”"

Crisis averted everyone. We can stop worrying about Brady and Belichick.

The New England Patriots almost came home with a Lombardi Trophy last season. If the Patriots were going to fail it would have happened last season.

Brady had one of his best seasons as a pro. The end doesn’t seem to be in sight. Brady seems to be aging just fine. He has stayed healthy and continues to perform at a high level.

The Patriots are primed for yet another Super Bowl run. They have some quality rookies, and some key players returning. Even though they lost some big pieces, the Patriots will be just fine. It’s the Patriot Way.
