New England Patriots: Why the Pats won’t turn into the Seattle Seahawks
By Sam Minton
After suffering a disappointing loss last February, some are speculating that the New England Patriots could spiral into the Seattle Seahawks. The Malcolm Butler interception changed the Seahawks forever, could his benching ruin the Patriots.
When you see Malcolm Butler’s Super Bowl interception you are reminded of the simpler times. New England Patriots fans were just making fun of Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll. How on Earth do you not hand the ball to Marshawn Lynch?
After that tragic loss, the Seattle Seahawks were never the same. Players started questioning Pete Carroll and the locker room was in shambles.
Now it seems like the Patriots could end up in the same situation, because of the same player. After the Patriots disappointing loss last February, fans were freaking out because Butler was benched. We still know very little about the decision, and we probably never will.

The Patriots are at a fork in the road. They can either still be their successful selves, or this could be the end of the dynasty. Here are 3 reasons why Patriots fans shouldn’t be worried. There is no way the Patriots turn into the Seattle Seahawks.
The Patriots have Tom Brady
No offense to Russell Wilson, but he is no Tom Brady. Brady is the greatest quarterback to play the game. He is extremely clutch and can be relied upon to win games.
Brady is mentally stronger than Wilson as well. Brady never lets the moment get to him. When the pressure rises, Brady does as well.
Brady threw for over 500 yards in the Super Bowl loss. He continues to play at such a high level.
I expect the Patriots and Brady to have another dominant season as they try and get back to the Super Bowl.
