David Price will be the starting pitcher for the Red Sox’s in Game 5. With a win, Price would become a Boston Red Sox legend.

The Red Sox’s are one win away from winning the World Series. After a great comeback effort in Game 4, the Boston Red Sox are back in the driver’s seat and may be coming back to Boston with another World Series championship.

Now obviously in a possible World Series clinching game, there are plenty of players who can cement their legacy with the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night, but one guy will have all the lights on him.

David Price.

Price is going to be the starting pitcher in Game 5 and with a win, could become a Boston Red Sox legend.

Price is coming off one of his most dominant efforts in the postseason. In Game 2 Price pitched 6 innings only allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out five batters.

Game 2 was Price’s first World Series win in his career and his postseason demons seem to have disappeared.

Price has been facing criticism ever since he came to Boston. Some fans wondered if he was worth his $200 million plus contract.

The lefty also hasn’t made things easy for himself. Price can sometimes be combative with the media and has struggled a lot at times. Now everything seems to be going Price’s way.

Game 5 could be the defining moment in David Price’s career. He will either prove that he is a great pitcher who thrives under pressure, or he will falter and become the guy that Boston Red Sox’s fans love to hate. The guy who can’t be relied upon and is a waste of money.

Next. Ian Kinsler could become the next Bill Buckner. dark

But with a win, David Price will become a Boston Red Sox’s legend and may even earn himself a World Series MVP.
