New England Patriots: Team needs to take a look in the mirror

The New England Patriots got bullied by the Tennessee Titans in Week 10. If New England wants to win a Super Bowl they need to get their heads screwed on straight and get back to the basics.
The New England Patriots shouldn’t get beat by the Tennessee Titans. It almost seems like a scientific theory. Tennessee had been struggling all season surely New England would roll in and dominate. Well, maybe that’s why the Patriots ended up losing in Week 10.
New England can sometimes fall victim to the dreaded trap game. A game where they are heavily favored or the game before a bye. It seems they got caught once again.
The Patriots didn’t just lose either. New England looked terrible. 34-10 is an absolutely disgusting score.

It started on the first play of the game. The Titans had a great kick return and started with great field position. The signs were there, but Patriots fans tried to remain hopeful. Tom Brady did lead us to the promised land after going down 28-3 in a Super Bowl.
This season seems different though. I’m not saying that the Patriots dynasty is coming to an end, but the days of New England just showing up and winning are over. Tom Brady can’t bail out the defense anymore. If New England wants to win games they need a solid game from everyone.
So hopefully Week 10 will end up serving a purpose. A wake-up call of sorts. The Patriots need to realize they aren’t the bullies of the NFL anymore. They have been taken down a peg.
As New England heads into the bye it is time for them to wake up and smell the coffee. Hopefully, they will come back and be recharged for the 2nd half of the season.

Because for the first time I am not so sure about the Patriots Super Bowl chances. New England’s season may end a lot sooner than fans were expecting.
