Even though he is 41 years old, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon.

Tom Brady may never stop playing football. The New England Patriots quarterback is 41 years old but is still very passionate about the game.  That passion can extend a player’s career.

This season has been an interesting one for Brady. He hasn’t had a significant drop-off, but he also hasn’t been the amazing quarterback we are used to.

So far this season, Brady has 4,105 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. The most telling stat is Brady’s interceptions, he has 11 this season. The last time he has had that many interceptions was in 2013.

Still it is clear that Tom Brady is a quality quarterback. He is one of the top QB’s in the NFL today.

Brady has talked about how he wants to play for a long time but he has confirmed that he will be back next season.

This is the news that all Patriots fans wanted to hear. I dread the day that Brady will announce his retirement. It should be a national day off. Thankfully we won’t have to worry about that day arriving this year.

When Brady decides to retire it will be the beginning of the end. The New England Patriots dynasty will begin to crumble. It will then be rebuilding time for the Patriots.

Brady will have a great opportunity these next few years. He can establish himself as the clear No.1 player in the NFL. With one more Super Bowl victory he would have the most rings in NFL history.

People still like to argue that Joe Montana is a better quarterback due to his perfect record in the Super Bowl, but it would be hard to make that argument if Brady wins another one.

So don’t worry New England Patriots fans, Tom Brady isn’t going anywhere.
