By Sam Minton
The Boston Bruins only have one player in the 2019 NHL All-Star Game, but it is the most deserving. David Pastrnak is headed to his first career All-Star game.
The Boston Bruins are coming off a great win in the 2019 Winter Classic. The team looked great and showed how talented they are on a national stage, but the good news doesn’t end there for Boston Bruins fans.
It was announced on Wednesday that David Pastrnak would be the lone member of the Bruins in the 2019 All-Star game.

This is a special moment for Pastrnak. it’s easy to forget that he is only 22 years old. Pasta has already done some amazing things in his career and has become one of the faces of the Bruins squad.
Once again the Bruins only have one member of their team getting noticed. Last season Brad Marchand was the only Bruin to head to the All-Star game down in the sunshine state.
Pastrnak will be happy to go but most guys will use this time to rest and step away from the game even if it is just for a quick moment. The NHL may have a short season compared to the MLB, but it still wears you down.
It will be interesting to see how Pasta fares in the game, but I think he will notch at least one goal in the game.
Here are 3 reasons that David Pastrnak deserves to be the Bruins lone All-Star this season.
