Boston Celtics draft rumors: Bol Bol would be an amazing pick
By Sam Minton
The Boston Celtics should once again be in great position when the draft comes around and they might be able to get the big man they desperately need.
No matter how well the Boston Celtics do they always tend to be in good position for the draft. This season it looks like the Celtics will once again have the opportunity to get a top tier player.
The Celtics won’t be in the top 3 picks as they have been recently, but they will have plenty of opportunities. Boston could have as many as 4 first round picks by the end of the season.

Danny Ainge loves to make a deal. You could possibly package these picks to move up or acquire a top talent. Maybe the Celtics could finally get Anthony Davis.
But Boston could just keep their picks and if they do, acquiring Bol Bol would be a great selection. Bol is the son of NBA big man Manute Bol who was one of the tallest players in NBA history.
So you definitely know where Bol Bol got his height from. He is a giant standing at 7’2″.
Bol was having an amazing season before he suffered a season-ending injury. In 9 games he averaged 21 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks a game.
What is so impressive about Bol’s game is that he doesn’t rely on his low post play. Bol has a quality jump shot. He was 13 for 25 behind the 3 point line.
The Celtics need a big man and they don’t come much bigger than Bol Bol. The big man seems perfectly built for today’s NBA. With Al Horford near the end of his career this seems to be a perfect move for Boston.
Danny Ainge hasn’t let us down yet and picking Bol Bol would be a great move that would give the Boston Celtics the big man they need for the future.
