Retired enforcer and known great human being Sean Avery believes that Nazem Kadri did nothing wrong and that Jake DeBrusk is in the wrong.

Well we know one thing. Sean Avery has officially lost it. The fact that he thinks that Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk is the bad guy is insane.

Game 2 was a wild one. Mainly because Nazem Kadri is a buffoon. I think John Scott may be a better hockey player than him.

More from Chowder and Champions

DeBrusk and Kadri have been going at it for the entire series, but on Saturday things boiled over. Jake DeBrusk laid a hit on veteran Patrick Marleau near the end of the bench. It was a clean hit, a shoulder check. The hit may have been close to a stanchion, but it looked like Marleau hit the boards.

Avery argued on his Instagram (which is interesting to say the least) that the hit was a dirty one. He believes Jake DeBrusk broke an unwritten rule and didn’t make things better by hitting a veteran like Marleau.

I’m pretty sure Avery would have driven Marleau right into the boards. Avery was a lunatic on the ice. They had to create the Avery Rule because he would just forget about playing offense and with his back to the play screen a goaltender like an idiot.

The only player that did anything wrong was Kadri. He used his stick as a weapon. I’m pretty sure there are some written and unwritten rules about that. He cross-checked Jake DeBrusk right in the head.

In Avery’s mind the only thing that Kadri did wrong was not taking out his front row of teeth. Well looks like Avery’s decision-making skills may need some fine-tuning.

Next. Kevan Miller out for playoffs. dark

Nazem Kadri will probably get suspended for at least 5 games and I can’t wait to hear what nonsense Avery has to say about that. At least the Boston Bruins won’t have to deal with him anymore.
