BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – MAY 26: Patrice Bergeron #37 of the Boston Bruins (Photo by Patrick Smith/Getty Images) /

4. Patrice Bergeron

Now this may have been the toughest choice. This was a really close race between Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron, but I have to go with Bergy.

There is no doubt that Bergeron is the face of the Boston Bruins. When you ask someone to name a player on the B’s more likely than not the first guy they will mention is Patrice Bergeron.

Bergeron has played his entire career in Boston. He has gone from a young kid to a grizzled veteran in a blink of an eye. It’s interesting to see someone mature and become a great person on and off the ice right in front of your eyes.

Watching Bergeron on the ice is like watching a clinic. He just plays the game perfectly. There is no part of his game that is lacking. If you want to become a great hockey player pay attention to Patrice Bergeron.

Hopefully before he retires he will get to wear the “C” and when he does retire he certainly will have his No.37 retired.
