Boston Celtics: Enes Kanter getting some major help
By Sam Minton
Enes Kanter has difficulty traveling out of the United States and one U.S. Senator is looking to help the Boston Celtics big man.
The Boston Celtics signed Enes Kanter and are hoping he will help the team go deep in the playoffs. It will be hard to do that if he is unable to play.
Kanter is known for letting no one take advantage of him. He is a great team player who will always stick up for his teammate. He is like a taller Marcus Smart.

Now if you know Enes Kanter you know that he isn’t afraid to let his opinion known. That has actually led to him getting in some trouble.
Kanter has been an outspoken opponent of the current President of Turkey (his home nation). This has led to him getting an international warrant placed on him. This makes traveling outside of the United States quite difficult.
The Toronto Raptors are still a great team in the Eastern Conference. There is definitely a chance that the Boston Celtics could face them in the playoffs. Losing Kanter for a series would be a big blow.
Well it looks like Kanter and the Celtics are getting some help. Senator Ed Markey is trying to make sure that Kanter can travel outside of the United States next season.
Kanter has already gained a ton of support in Boston on and off the court. His trolling of Kyrie Irving and Nick Wright has made him a fan favorite.
I expect Kanter to be an important player for the Celtics this season. He will bring a rebounding skill that the team desperately needed.
So hopefully Markey will be able to help Kanter travel outside the United States before the season begins. Celtics fans want the center focused on winning games and not questioning if he can attend them.
