Captain’s practice kicked off for the Boston Bruins and Sean Kuraly revealed that the team’s Game 7 loss haunts him as well as other teammates.

The Boston Bruins Game 7 loss was tough for us Boston Bruins fans. So just imagine how much it hurt the players and coaches who worked so hard last season.

We already saw how crushed guys like Charlie McAvoy and Brad Marchand were on the ice. As the St.Louis Blues were lifting the cup on the TD Garden ice tears were falling from their face.

After the game guys like Marchand pondered if they would ever get over the loss. Well it definitely seems like they haven’t yet.

The Bruins kicked off their captain’s practices on Wednesday. Another sign that the hockey season is growing ever so close.

Sean Kuraly was one of the many players in attendance and he spoke about that faithful night.

One thing is clear, the Bruins are still haunted by their Game 7 loss at home.

The reason the loss stung so much is because the Bruins were the better team. They should have beat the St.Louis Blues. Boston far and away had the more talented roster, but that is why games aren’t won on paper.

Fans hope that the Bruins will use the loss as motivation to make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals. With the roster they have that is definitely possible. Boston basically has the same roster.

Issues arise when the team thinks about this too much. Eventually you have to move on or the loss will do more harm than good.

So hopefully the Boston Bruins will continue to have success in the 2019-20 season. The city is electric whenever the Bruins are in the middle of a playoff run.

The Bruins should take a page from the New England Patriots. They should do their job and bring home a Stanley Cup.
