Antonio Brown seems to always be in trouble and that is forcing the New England Patriots to get rid of the wide receiver.

We all knew that when the New England Patriots signed Antonio Brown that he was bringing baggage with him, but no one could have seen what would follow. These last two weeks have been filled with chaos.

It seems like every day there is some new report out talking about Brown’s horrible off the field behavior. The latest reports show that Brown’s days on a football field might be numbered.

More from Chowder and Champions

Sports Illustrated’s Robert Klemko is reporting that Brown is accused of intimidating an accuser who spoke out about an alleged incident between the two.

At this point it seems like Brown is doing more damage than good. Do the Patriots really need him on the roster?

By getting rid of Brown they would still have Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon as their top receivers. Waiting in the wings would be Phillip Dorsett who would be happy to get his snaps back. Dorsett was amazing in Week 1. He had 4 catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Also by moving on from Brown it would ensure that New England would be able to test out their rookies. Gunner Olszewski will get more snaps as a wideout and once he is healthy we will get a chance to see what N’Keal Harry can do.

Harry was hyped a ton entering the season. It was a real shame to see him get hurt in the preseason and end up on the IR. If Brown is still on the roster I don’t think Harry will be getting any playing time.

Next. Tom Brady not thinking about perfection. dark

So the New England Patriots were smart to release Antonio Brown. He isn’t worth all the problems he is causing.
