New England Patriots: Why Week 4 matchup in Buffalo is toughest so far in 2019
By Sam Minton
The New England Patriots head to Buffalo in week 4 and the Bills will be the teams toughest matchup so far this season.
So far this season, the New England Patriots look absolutely unstoppable. Tom Brady is showing no signs of decline and the defense is the best they have ever been.
New England hasn’t just been beating teams, they have been dominating them. It took all the way until Week 3 for a team to score a touchdown against the Patriots.

The offense isn’t too shabby either. Josh Gordon is proving how amazing of a receiver that he is and Phillip Dorsett could have one of the best seasons of his career. Also James White continues to be an amazing weapon.
Now it is easy to just say that the Patriots will just steamroll over the Buffalo Bills. Historically the team has done quite well against Buffalo. New England boasts a 73-43-1 record.
But this season I have some skepticism as the kings of the AFC East head to upstate New York. Dare I say the Bills look like a good team?
Just like the Patriots, the Bills defense has been phenomenal. Already the team has 4 interceptions and 7 sacks. Also, the Bills are top in points allowed and yards allowed.
The Bills are also getting some great play from their quarterback. Josh Allen is looking like me might be a quality quarterback. So far this season Allen has 750 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Allen could cause a lot of problems for New England’s defense. Allen is a mobile quarterback and if he could break loose it could be a long day for the Patriots front 7.
New England’s defense needs to get a ton of pressure in the backfield and force Allen to make mistakes. If Allen has time to think he will find the open man or he will find open field.
So Week 4 might not be an easy game for the New England Patriots.
