San Francisco 49ers

It is always nice to see former members of the New England Patriots win a Super Bowl. Especially a guy like Jimmy Garoppolo.

It seemed like Jimmy G was going to be the heir to Tom Brady, but he was traded to San Fran in a surprising move by the Pats.

More from New England Patriots

Garoppolo had his best season as a pro in 2019. He led the Niners to a 13-3 record and threw for almost 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Even though it would prove that New England made a mistake I wouldn’t mind seeing Garoppolo win a Super Bowl as a starter. It would once again prove that Bill Belichick has a great eye for talent.

Also it would be nice to see an NFC team win the Super Bowl for a change.

I bet there will be a few Patriots fans rooting for Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers this postseason.
