New England Patriots rumors: Tom Brady open to leaving team

Tom Brady is a free agent and open to meeting with other teams. This is not what New England Patriots fans wanted to hear.
This offseason is about to be a doozy for New England Patriots fans. We have to wait and see if Tom Brady will return to the team or not.
For a while, it seemed like Brady would stay in New England. He continued to talk about how he had unfinished business.

But now that confidence is shaken. Even the New England Patriots are starting to get worried.
According to Jason La Canfora, Brady is rather open to leaving the New England Patriots.
"“For the first time in his NFL career, Tom Brady is prepared to discuss a future with teams beyond the New England Patriots, sources said, and for the first time since he took over as a starter nearly two decades ago, the Patriots are unsure of who will be under center in 2020."
Those words broke my heart as a Patriots fan. How can Tom Brady leave New England?
If Brady wants to make some money it will be elsewhere. Teams like the Oakland Raiders can offer Brady a dream deal.
We have never seen Brady be this open about possibly leaving the Patriots. Usually, by now the team and the QB would have a deal sorted out. This game of a chicken is going on must longer than we are used to.
The bad thing is we just have to wait. With the Patriots season over I don’t think we will be hearing about a deal anytime soon.
If Brady doesn’t come back, the offense will be taking a big hit. It will be like a complete reset. New England would have to revamp their offense for a new QB. Even if New England brought in a veteran quarterback the offense would have to be changed.

So New England Patriots fans should definitely be worried. It seems like there is a good chance that Tom Brady could actually leave the team this season. If that was to happen it would be a dark day in Patriots history.
