It seems that Julian Edelman is over Tom Brady leaving him and is already working with likely starter for the New England Patriots Jarrett Stidham.

When Tom Brady left the New England Patriots it was a blow to a lot of people. When the news broke it felt like a punch in the stomach.

Obviously, fans were upset and sad over the move but there were probably some players who were sad to see Brady leave. The first one that comes to mind being Julian Edelman.

Edelman loved Brady. I’m pretty sure that in his house he probably had a room where the walls were littered with pictures of TB12. If they weren’t teammates I might have been concerned for Tom’s wellbeing.

It seemed as though Edelman’s feelings were truly hurt when Brady left. For a brief period, he even unfollowed his former QB on Instagram.

It takes a while to get over a breakup but it appears that Edelman is finally himself again. Apparently, Edelman and Jarrett Stidham have been working out a lot.

That is what you want to see from your starting quarterback. It appears unlike Brady, we won’t have to worry about Stidham missing any preseason workouts. He and his teammates will be working hard so that they will be ready to start the 2020 season off with a bang.

This season has the makings of a being a big one for Edelman. There is no doubt that Stidham will continue to rely on Edelman, but Jules will still have to earn his trust.

Unlike Brady, Stidham isn’t afraid to throw to his younger receivers. If Edelman struggles early on we could see N’Keal Harry, Mohamed Sanu, or Jakobi Meyers see an uptick in targets.

But Edelman is over Brady and focused on the 2020 season. We might witness the best season of his entire career.
