New England Patriots: Odell Beckham Jr. loves Bill Belichick

In a roundtable discussion featuring Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr. talked about just how much he loves New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
It seems as though Bill Belichick and Odell Beckham Jr. have always admired one another. OBJ has been linked to a move to the New England Patriots.
It all started when Tom Brady and OBJ met after a game between the Browns and the Patriots. Now Beckham’s love is focused on the Patriots head coach.

Beckham was a part of a roundtable discussion that also featured Patriots quarterback Cam Newton. Newton talked about how excited he was to get to work with Belichick.
This caused Beckham to give his thoughts on the legendary head coach.
"“To be going to Belichick, there is no like ‘How is it going to work?’ For me, all he want to do is to put you in a place to succeed, and I’m happy to see it.”"
OBJ would do wonders in New England. The team needs an elite receiver who can blow by defenders for big gains. Julian Edelman is great in the short and intermediate passing game but Beckham is a deep ball threat.
His contract doesn’t expire for a while so likely New England would have to work out a trade. If the Browns struggle again in 2020 we could see Cleveland move on from the wideout. At 27 years old, Beckham still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
It would be interesting to see just how much it would cost to land Beckham Jr. At one point he was looked at as the best wideout in the NFL. Now people just look at him as a head case.
But if OBJ ended up in New England he could become a problem again. Imagine having to game plan for both Newton and OBJ?
Beckham needs a Super Bowl. It’s the only thing missing from his resume. If he gets a ring he will be remembered forever and will be a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
If OBJ wants to win there is no place better than New England. If he wants to reach his full potential he knows he needs Belichick.

So don’t be surprised if Beckham makes his way to New England before his career is over. It almost seems like he is destined to join the team.
