Boston Celtics fans began to worry about Kemba Walker’s knee, but Brad Stevens latest comments should calm everyone down.

One thing that has been on the mind of Boston Celtics fans is the health of Kemba Walker. It has been one of the big stories of the NBA bubble.

Fans were hoping to see a healthy Walker since the C’s hadn’t played in so long. He only appeared in 50 games this season prior to the league being put on pause. Walker’s nagging issue has been his knee.

This issue seemed to flare up while in the bubble. We saw Walker miss some practices and he even missed a scrimmage.

But we might have freaked out a little bit too much. Celtics head coach Brad Stevens gave fans some good news. Walker’s knee seems to be the best that it has ever been.

That definitely makes Celtics fans excited. A healthy Kemba means trouble for the Eastern Conference. This season he averaged 21.2 points and 4.9 assists for the C’s.

Walker has a unique opportunity in Boston. The team is relying more on Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum but Walker still has the ability to have some great performances. Also, Walker offers some great leadership for the younger players alongside Gordon Hayward.

A healthy Walker ensures that defenses can’t focus in on Tatum and Brown. With a healthy starting 5, the C’s can go far. They might be the only team that can truly challenge the Bucks in the Eastern Conference.

Hopefully, as games begin, Walker is able to stay healthy. It looks like Stevens still wants to play it safe with Walker as he will play limited minutes in the first few games. At the end of the day, as long as he is healthy for the playoffs, Celtics fans will be happy. That’s when Boston needs him the most.
