The Boston Bruins 2020 alternate jersey’s leaked and fans will have plenty to say about them.

Hockey fans don’t know when the NHL season will begin, but Boston Bruins fans have something to talk about. It looks like the team will be getting some new jerseys.

The NHL confirmed on Tuesday what had long been expected, every franchise will have a reverse retro jersey for next season. For Bruins fans, this will be quite the treat.

More from Chowder and Champions

Does this mean the pooh bear will return? Will we see a modern take on one of the franchise’s early uniforms?

Well if what Pete Blackburn of CBS Sports shared with the world is correct, I expect Bruins fans will be happy with the look.

The pooh bear is a polarizing look, some love it while some hate it. While I would love to see Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak rock these I understand why the Bruins didn’t go with that logo.

It also appears that the Bruins were listening to Patrice Bergeron. The Bruins legend spoke about his desire to play in a uniform with this logo.

So let’s see if these jerseys are trash or if they pass the test.

Pass

These jerseys aren’t getting an A, but a B or C is still a passing grade.

The gold is a good look. The Bruins are in fact called the black and gold for a reason. This will be the first time they have had a gold jersey since the 2010 Winter Classic.

There is also a bear on the shoulders which is a nice touch. While I would have preferred the pooh bear, this one will get the job done.

So far fans have to be happy with what Adidas has done with the jerseys since taking over for the NHL. As someone who owns a few, they are worth the money.

Also, the NHL has been smart with designing more retro-based jerseys. It’s exactly what fans want.

dark. Next. Why Bruins shouldn't be favorites in East

While the Bruins didn’t exactly hit this one out of the park, fans of the team should be itching to see these on their favorite players whenever the 2021 season begins.
