Boston Celtics: 4 trade exemption targets – No. 2: Nikola Vucevic

Nikola Vucevic has been someone who has always been on the Celtics radar. If the team was able to acquire him it wouldn’t be that shocking.

Vucevic is exactly what the team needs. He is a big man who can shoot the ball as well as rebound. What more can you ask for?

Last season was another great one for Vucevic. He averaged over 19 points a game as well as 10 rebounds. That would be a great addition to Boston’s starting lineup.

The Celtics need a big man who can rebound. It’s the one thing that they have been lacking for many years.

It would be interesting to see what it would cost to get Vucevic. Marcus Smart seems like a name who could be involved but could they package some draft picks and some bench players such as Semi Ojeyele, Carsen Edwards, and Grant Williams.

Also if the Celtics were to acquire Vucevic, it would be worth giving up Daniel Theis. Vucevic is a much better player.
