Kyrie Irving’s future with Boston Celtics up in the air

Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving seemed to fan the flames of rumors that he may be leaving the C’s when his option is up.
Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the NBA.
His performance in interviews is fun to watch, but now since Irving is a member of the Celtics his antics in the media can make you nervous.
Irving recently spoke to the New York Times and when asked about his future with the Boston Celtics, he wasn’t very clear.
A lot of the news coming out of Boston hasn’t been the best.

With the news about the Celtics possibly courting LeBron James, rumors have arisen of Irving leaving the Celtics to go play for the New York Knicks.
Kyrie could have put a stop to those rumors by saying he wants to stay with the C’s.
Irving was searching for a home and it seemed like he found it in Boston. He was the face of the franchise.
Irving was finally out of LeBron’s shadow.
If Irving did decide to head to the big apple, he wouldn’t be the outright No. 1 player.
He would be sharing the spotlight with Kristaps Porzingis.
Now on the positive side, it seems like Irving is focused on winning a championship.
Some players can be focused on improving their worth so it seems that Irving’s mind is in the right place.
The Celtics are one of the top favorites to win the NBA championship. They will have the deepest roster in the league and are the favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference. If the C’s win a championship and Kyrie left it would be an insanely stupid move.

Kyrie Irving needs to realize that the opportunity he has with the Boston Celtics is the best in the league and that he has the chance to have his number up in the TD Garden rafters as a Celtics legend.
